A Decade--10 years--3650 days--87,600 hours--5,256,000 minutes and counting

We celebrated 10 years of marriage this week. Wow! Are we old enough to be married 10 years? We know we don't look it but alas, we are really old enough! It's been a great ride. We've made it a decade and love more now than we did then. We can't wait to see what the next decade brings in life. If it's as wonderful as the last we certainly will be able to count our blessings.

We had a great little celebration in Hot Springs. (no far away trip with Ethan still a little one! An overnight stay at Mammy's house away from mom was a BIG deal---for Mommy!)

We stayed at The Arlington--the same place we stayed on our first anniversary 9 years ago. The day started for Chad at the Bath house with a massage and for Jessica with massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. Later we dressed up and out at Belle Arte (see photos below). Didn't we look stunning?! It is a great little Italian restaurant downtown Hot Springs: white table clothes, candles, live piano) We started with a Caesar salad for him and an salad with Arugula, sweet white pears, and goat cheese. For the main course Chad had seafood stuffed cannelloni and a glass red Meridian Merlot, Jessica stayed with her favorite: eggplant Parmesan and a glass of Meridian Chardonnay. (She loved the eggplant but says the Chardonnay was too sharp--not her favorite.) We finished the meal with chocolate covered stuffed canoli for her and taramisu for him.

The night was still young. We spent the rest of the night in the beautiful ballroom of The Arlington where a 1940's big band played live and couples danced to the music. It was sweet, fun and entertaining. The most entertainment was from one crazy woman that must have had a little too much to drink. She was acting like a wild woman on the dance floor, climbing all over her man, making weird faces and thoroughly embarrassing everyone. We've included a photo (she's the gal in the white).

We danced a slow one together before we called it a night.

Jessica got her long awaited Cannon Rebel, 10 megapixel with a changeable lens for her anniversary. She starts off with a Sigma 24-135mm lens. She loves it, is learning it and shooting everything in sight! She starts her first photography class soon.

Chad got what he wanted most--some great private time with his bride and a gift basket for new wine connoisseurs!

The next day we walked downtown, did a little shopping and began the trip back to mammy's house. The boy and mom both survived!
