A week to go 'til Christmas

Well, there is a week to go until Christmas and we are ready. We've bought everyone's gifts now and are all done, except for buying Chad's sister Katherine and her stuff. Hannah and Grace are going to love their gifts. I'd tell you what we bought them but we're afraid they might read the blog. We bought Chad's sister Sarah a large candle decor set from Bed, bath and beyond, her little girl destiny the Charlie and the Chocolate factory dvd and Jada a princess ballet pajama set. She'll look cute in it.

Today we finished up by buying Jessica's parents gift and getting all the girls' stocking stuffers. They are counting the days. For Christmas we will open present at our house on Christmas eve and then head to Jessica's mom's. Christmas morning we will have the traditional breakfast there and then for a special treat get to go to church Sunday on Christmas day. Our church is having a worship/communion service that morning. It will be a special memory to have communion together as a family on Christmas morning. That is what Christmas is really all about....CHRIST.

We are trying to get Jessica's car sold and something bought for her with a little more room...SUV or mini-van world. It is just a necessity when you move to three kids! Hopefully Chad will take a few days off after Christmas and get some duck hunting in. The girls and Jessica can enjoy shopping with grandma and just taking it easy.

Chad wants to see the movie Cinderella Man really bad and is hoping to rent it tonight. Hope it is good.

Still hoping for a little snow this Christmas, too.
