Celebrate every season....especially summer!

Our girls love summertime. It is a great time for kids. Think about it. Can't you come with a ton of great memories that happened in the summertime. Running, playing, swimming, hiking, boating and so much more. Summertime lends itself to a child's curious nature to be outside and explore. H and G love getting to go to the pool. They are becoming convinced that they have been deprived greatly if they do not go to the pool at least once a day. I mean...what kind of parents would have access to a pool and actually NOT take them there EVERY SINGLE DAY? They love the pool!

This year's newest adventure at the pool is the diving board. Actually, the diving boards! There is a high and a low and they love them both. Grace was a little apprehensive at first but with her sister's encouragement and an eye on all the other swimmers she went for it. Before you knew it they were both venturing out into unknown territories. Jackknifes, can openers, cannonballs and a few spin arounds. They were BIG stuff. If one of the Big kids tried it you could see their faces ask, "How did they do that?....Can I do that?" Then the challenge was on. They would proceed with a few more of the same old thing and then out of nowhere the new trick made it's debut. They would laugh and giggle and smile at each other. Cutest was how one would get on the high dive and the other on the low dive (while the line behind them piled up) they would look at each other, count, shout go and dive at the exact same moment. They came out of the water smiling and giggling and then immediately looking over to Dad for a thumbs up. They deserved two.

They are friends and we love that. They are sweet. The summer is full of memories to be made.
