His Grace...sufficient

Just a brief note to thank all of you who have been so kind and reached out to us during this very difficult month.

I had a fabulous trip to Africa for Legacy Consulting but it was cut short with tragedy at home.

The death of two in our church, including a very close and dear friend of mine for over 15 years brought me home early. I actually officiated his funeral upon my return. In the meantime Jessica's aunt drown in her swimming pool and her husband (jessica's uncle) committed suicide. The funeral for both of them will likely be Monday.

In the midst of these difficulties we have discovered God's grace and kindness to be supreme. We cannot always control our circumstances but we can choose how we respond. We respond with love toward those hurting and full dependence and trust upon our Creator.

Please continue to pray for Jessica's family and the wife and family of my friend.
