2007

It's here and it has been for a few days. We have such extraordinary expectations of 2007. It is so new and so full of life and promise. We had a wonderful 2006 and lots for which to be thankful!

Time is short tonight so we'll catch up with more stories and new pictures later in the week but here's what's up with us.

Jessica's mom is coming to visit and help on a couple of projects around the house! Jessica is so excited.

I'm off to Atlanta for an important business meeting on Monday.

We enjoyed a long day of nothingness today. Oh, so wonderful. We messed around the house, downloaded songs, watched a movie with the kids (Ant Bully--pretty cute). The girls played and played and played. I think the game of the evening was spa adn beauty shop for all the dolls in the bathroom. We ended the night with steak from the grill--good stuff.

Governor Huckabee's term ends Tuesday at noon. Arkansas has had a great 10 1/2 years under his leadership. He's done a fabulous job as Governor. We can all be thankful. I believe his future is full of promise.

The new governor begins his job Tuesday at noon. I hope he'll well. We're praying for him as he starts.

My friend Bryan is in the full throws of starting a new community (church) in Memphis. Prayed for him today.

New house is getting closer and closer--we can't wait!

Enjoying some great music today. You've got to check out the bands Kutless and Ten Shekel Shirt. Very good stuff. I love Ten Shekel shirt's song "Unashamed Love"--it's super. Matt Redman has some new stuff out that is great too. Barry and Michelle Patterson's stuff is ALWAYS wonderful. Will write more on this good stuff soon.

Bad news: Busy schedule has meant very little duck hunting this year.
