The Tree

Below you'll see a shot of H and G in their tree. They love it there. It is their "outside house". It is a large Bradford pear tree in the front yard of our LR home and they spend lots of their outside time in its branches. It is a pretty impressive tree with a kitchen, bedrooms, a spot for entertaining and all the amenities....so I hear, anyway.

Last year H started keeping a journal as part of her homeschooling. In her first entry she wrote about her tree. She wrote how she loved it and wished she could be there all day. Even after falling out of it and breaking her arm last October she still loves her tree. G has followed suit with her sister's soft spot for the fruitless thing!
